Position Details

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND A CLASS A COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE

CANDIDATE MUST LIVE WITHIN A 25 MILE RADIUS OF Tifton, GA

Requirements

• Possess a Class A license with the ability to pull doubles, have HazMat endorsement, and understand DOT regulations and safety functions.
• Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections, including completing all required records (DOT logs, Manifests, Trip Reports, Fuel Reports).
• Be familiar with the E-Log system.
• Be able to work as needed, including overnight stays and weekends.
• Deliver and unload merchandise at customer stores, providing excellent customer service.
• Manage customer merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Climb in and out of the truck cab multiple times daily.
• Direct traffic during accidents or breakdowns.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Take directions and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Assist in other roles as needed.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Meet physical assessment requirements for the position.
