Job summary

Pacheco Services Inc. is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for local port operations in the Wilmington/Los Angeles area. We offer both full-time and part-time options with a modern fleet including diesel and electric trucks, and training on electric equipment is available.

Required are a valid Class A CDL, TWIC card, and a minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving plus 1 year port driving experience. Candidates should be dependable, safety-minded, and able to commute to Wilmington, CA.

• Safely operate Class A trucks for local port transportation.
• Pick up and transport loads in and out of the ports safely and efficiently.
• Operate both diesel and electric trucks.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and maintain logs.
• Communicate with dispatch to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Follow DOT, port, company, and safety requirements.
• Keep trucks clean and well maintained.
• Report equipment or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Represent Pacheco Services professionally on the road.

Pacheco Services is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for local port operations in the Wilmington/Los Angeles area. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded drivers who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and take care of the equipment they operate. This is a great opportunity for experienced port drivers looking for consistent local work with both full-time and part-time options. Our fleet includes both diesel and multiple electric truck options, giving our drivers the opportunity to operate newer transportation technology while remaining in a local driving position. Training on electric equipment is available.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate Class A trucks for local port transportation
• Pick up and transport loads in and out of the ports safely and efficiently
• Operate both diesel and electric trucks
• Complete required vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
• Communicate with dispatch and follow instructions to keep deliveries running efficiently
• Follow all DOT, port, company, and safety requirements
• Keep assigned trucks clean and well cared for, both inside and out
• Report equipment or maintenance concerns promptly
• Represent Pacheco Services professionally while on the road and at customer and port locations

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current TWIC card
• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience
• Minimum 1 year of port driving experience
• Ability to commute to Wilmington, CA
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to properly care for company equipment

Experience operating electric trucks is not required. Training is available.

Available Schedules

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM–2:00 AM
• Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
