Position: Driver – Local

Location: Trulite Glass / American Insulated Glass, LLC, 2190 Urban Pike, Ijamsville, MD 21754

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour
• Shift: Days, starting at 4 AM
• Weekly Pay

Qualifications:

• Previous over-the-road driving experience
• Good driving record
• No license restrictions
• Ability to operate manual transmission
• Familiarity with pre- and post-trip inspections and online log systems

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute efficient delivery and pick-up routes daily
• Deliver glass to specified addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt as needed
• Pick up glass and other items along scheduled routes, including returns and company orders
• Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations
• Ensure vehicle receives regular basic maintenance; report mechanical issues
• Maintain communication with supervisor via phone or radio for delivery instructions
• Load and unload trucks with scheduled glass deliveries
• Assist in warehouse duties after completing delivery routes

Skills & Requirements:

• CDL Class A or B license, passing driver’s testing and DOT physical/drug screening
• Experience operating Moffett and boom trucks preferred
• Proficiency with navigation tools (GPS, smartphone apps, maps)
• Ability to plan routes and maintain logs
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills in English
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs and perform demanding physical tasks, including bending, stretching, and extensive walking in all weather conditions; steel toe boots required
• Warehouse experience preferred
