Unified Defense is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Byron, GA team on the 1st shift. You will operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently, move and load materials, and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• Proficiency operating forklifts and other heavy equipment.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately move, position, load, and balance materials to support production and shipping operations.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and finished products.
• Complete required pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and minor repairs on assigned equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
