Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations seeks a skilled CDL Class A Equipment Operator in Tampa, FL to safely operate heavy equipment for natural gas construction projects. You will transport, inspect, and maintain equipment, while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

The role requires 2+ years’ experience with excavators, bulldozers, trenchers, backhoes, and loaders, and a strong safety record. You may travel to various Fort Pierce area sites and beyond as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in natural gas pipeline or utility construction.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, trenchers, backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Transport materials, equipment, and personnel per DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Maintain daily logs and participate in safety meetings and briefings.
