Job summary

Greif is seeking a qualified CDL Class A Driver / Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in Minerva, OH. The role involves operating tractor-trailers between local facilities, performing inspections, securing loads, and maintaining electronic logs and delivery documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card (DOT physical and drug screening).
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain via company training.
Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
Reliability and willingness to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

Operate CDL Class A vehicles between local facilities and vendor locations.
Perform late-afternoon and evening shuttles and local freight transfers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
Secure loads using straps/chains and manage logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
Load/unload using forklifts or manual handling equipment; stage freight for morning deliveries.
Receive and verify incoming inventory and stock materials in warehouse.
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized facility and warehouse operations.
