Job summary

The Carris Reels, Inc. is seeking a Band IX CDL Class A Driver for VT Operations. This role focuses on safe, on-time deliveries and timely backhaul pickups. Most routes are local, and drivers are home most evenings.

You will build strong relationships with shipping and receiving personnel at customer sites, maintain electronic logs, and comply with DOT/OSHA requirements in a safety-first team environment.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and clean driving record.
• Ability to deliver on-time and maintain relationships at customer locations.
• Willingness to work local routes with rare overnight layovers.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety programs and requirements.
• Maintain certifications required by DOT and OSHA.
• Use GPS and maintain electronic logs as required.
• Drive routes across multiple states while obeying traffic laws.
• Clean and wash truck/equipment and top off fuel.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.

Band IX CDL Class A Driver, VT Operations

Pay Range: $29.20-$34.90 per hour

We have an opening for a CDL Class A Driver for VT Operations.

Drivers must be able to create and maintain great relationships with shipping and receiving personnel at the customers location. Drivers are responsible for safe, on-time deliveries, and timely pick-up of back haul supplies and materials. Candidates must possess a clean CDL-A. Most of the routes are local, and overnight layovers are rare- drivers are home most evenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere To All Company Safety Programs And Requirements.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA.
• Use GPS equipment and keep electronic logs as required.
• Drive distances sometimes spanning several states, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Clean and wash truck/equipment, wash windows inside and out, and top off fuel tanks.
• Perform routine inspections.
