Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to shuttle parcels between terminals in the Midwest. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, with 5:00 PM start times and 10–15 hours of overtime weekly. Wages range from $26.00 to $33.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and protections under DOT standards.

Qualificações

• Must be 21 years or older with valid CDL Class A license.

• Ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.

Job Summary

The CDL Class A Driver (Transport) is responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck to transport parcels between terminals.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 5:00PM Start
• 10-15 hours of overtime expected each week
• Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
• $26.00-33.50 per hour, based on experience
  • The posted pay range reflects the compensation range for this position. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity. Employees are generally hired below the maximum of the range to allow room for future compensation growth as they gain experience, develop their skills and demonstrate increases proficiency in the role. Compensation increased are based on applicable company policies, performance and individual development

Pay Grade and Position Status

• Position Status: Full-Time
• FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order
• Turn in pre-trip form and complete mileage and maintenance forms
• Drive between terminals to transport parcels
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety policies
• Wash the exterior of tractor and equipment daily
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pick up as needed

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions

Education and Experience

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
