Qualifications

• Three years of CDL driving experience with a consistent job history.
• Must pass a medical DOT physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check with clean MVR and consent to Clearinghouse.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong communication and basic math skills; able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspections.
• Coordinate with office and customers on commodities to load.
• Operate independently when driving and ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe yard and support team members.
• Keep work areas orderly and report issues promptly.
• Attend shifts reliably and maintain punctuality.
• Assist with general yard tasks and equipment checks.
