Job summary

Ecore is seeking a professional truck driver at our York, PA facility to deliver finished product to customers and pick up raw materials. The role requires pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, compliance with DOT regulations, and accurate paperwork.

You will perform loading/unloading, coordinate with vendors and customers, maintain records, and support SOP generation for shipping. A valid Class A CDL and at least two years of on‑the‑road experience are required; flexibility for occasional overnight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reasonable English fluency (read, write, speak) required.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Minimum of two years on‑the‑road tractor trailer driving experience.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must meet DOT medical standards.

Responsibilities

• Safe and legal operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Safe and timely transportation of freight from origin to destination.
• Proper loading and unloading of freight with mechanical handling equipment.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear on trailers/dollies.
• Inspect truck for defects and report conditions after trips.
• Fueling and general light maintenance of vehicle.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and company personnel regarding scheduling.
• Check shipping papers and ensure paperwork accompanies shipments.
