Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking skilled CDL Class A Delivery Drivers in our Pittsburgh/OH regional network. You will operate a Class A vehicle, execute daily routes, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes customer service, compliance with DOT regulations, and dependable property handling. Benefits start after 30 days and include Health/Rx, Vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• 12 months of verifiable driving experience, or less than 12 months with a perfectly clean MVR.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and loading/unloading.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle and deliver to Direct Store Delivery locations.
• Execute daily routes ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Load and unload product and maintain accurate delivery logs in Samsara.
• Build positive relationships with store personnel and uphold KeHE values.
• Adhere to safety standards and adapt to changing schedules and routes.

Primary Responsibilities

1 -2 Layovers per week. Deliveries to the Pittsburgh and Ohio Areas.

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations while delivering product to Direct Store Delivery (DSD) locations within the assigned regional area.
• Execute daily assigned routes and deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product to customers.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or operational issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload product at delivery sites, ensuring accuracy in all deliveries and proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate logs and vehicle service records in Samsara in compliance with company policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with store personnel at delivery locations, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and KeHE's values of putting people first.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and follow established protocols for maintaining a safe driving record.
• Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and assignments in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
• Act as an ambassador for KeHE’s values by participating in community initiatives and contributing to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to representing KeHE's values of service to others.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a sense of ownership and accountability for the role.
