CHASE Staffing is seeking a temporary CDL Class A driver for an evening assignment in Roanoke, VA. The role covers a Roanoke–Tennessee–Roanoke route with a 4:30 PM start, Oct 5–9. You will operate an 18-wheeler, perform inspections, and log hours in compliance with DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL Class A and a clean MVR, with prior CDL driving experience and availability for all dates. Pay is $26/hour for the duration of the assignment.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Temporary CDL Class A Driver to provide vacation coverage for a short-term assignment from May 26 through May 29. This position involves evening driving of an 18-wheeler, transporting a full load to a site in Tennessee, then returning with an empty trailer back to our job site in Roanoke, VA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDL driver looking for a well-paying, short-term assignment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A 18-wheeler
• Transport a full load to a designated site in Tennessee
• Return an empty trailer to Roanoke, VA
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• MUST have current DOT Medical Card
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as required

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual for evening start times

Compensation
