Job summary

Boyd Metals is seeking a CDL A driver to transport materials and operate company equipment safely to delivery points in Arkansas. The role requires adhering to DOT regulations, securing loads, and maintaining accurate logs while presenting a professional image to customers.

You will read and follow safety manuals, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinate with the Transportation/Shipping team to handle delays or questions about deliveries.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience operating CDL flat-bed hauling.
• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have a clean MVR and PSP.
• Must read English sufficiently to read instructions, tickets, safety manuals.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and operate company vehicle safely to delivery points.
• Follow DOT rules and company safety policies; secure loads with straps, chains.
• Verify load counts and inspect truck pre/post trip; update logs as required.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and coordinate with Transportation/Shipping.
