Job summary

ABC Supply, America\u2019s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a licensed CDL driver for local deliveries in the Rural Hall, NC area. You will ensure safe deliveries from the branch to job sites, and you will complete both ground and rooftop shipments while keeping customers satisfied.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, documenting each delivery with photos, maintaining a clean driving record, and adhering to all federal and state

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A required.
• Must have a prior clean driving record for minimum of five years.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (70 lb shingles common).
• Willingness and ability to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests required.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera system.
• Complete load checks and ensure materials are secured per regulations.
• Work with Delivery Material Handler to set and unload materials.
• File logs and required government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect COD amounts when applicable.
• Warehouse duties may include loading/unloading materials as assigned.
