Food Bank for the Heartland in Omaha, NE seeks a Class A CDL Driver to support our transportation operations. You will deliver to agency and program partners, load and unload shipments, and maintain compliance with DOT and agency guidelines.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and excellent service, with daily vehicle checks, documentation, and collaboration across departments to sustain food donations and community support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of relatable experience.
• A valid CDL, Class A license, and medical card required.
• Forklift, dolly, and pallet jack experience is preferred.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver timely and accurate deliveries to agency and program partners as designated by transportation manifests.
• Load and unload trucks using delivery tickets for dry, frozen, and cooled products.
• Follow FBFH guidelines as delineated in the Agency Manual and by the Transportation Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to agency partners and report concerns promptly.
• Complete and document all paperwork and transportation checks as required by DOT.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean, perform safety checks, and report any issues to supervision.
• Support the transportation department's workload by assisting other drivers when needed.
• Promote FBFH's mission and values to stakeholders and communities.
