Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a home daily position. You will operate 53 ft tractors, cover local routes, and support site start-ups or coverage as needed. Expect home daily schedules and travel as required to cover sites.

The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and collaboration with dispatch. A CDL-A with at least 6 months experience and a high school diploma are required; MVR must meet company standards. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating similar equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A current valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple trailer types is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive 53 ft tractor-trailer in and around the site or on public roads.
• No touch freight position.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform driver ride-along reviews, road tests, and site audits.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.
