Job summary

Miller Environmental Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a CDL Class A Driver / Field Laborer to support environmental services, remediation, and spill response. You will safely operate tractors, tankers, and roll‑off trucks and perform hands‑on field labor as needed.

The role is full‑time, includes overtime, weekend premiums, and benefits. Opportunities for advancement into senior driver or leadership roles are available within MEG.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid, unrestricted CDL Class A license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. and perform heavy physical labor.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and on uneven terrain.
• Willingness to get dirty and work extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, travel, and be on‑call.
• Ability to wear respirators and meet OSHA respiratory protection requirements.
• Pass DOT physical, DOT drug/alcohol screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A commercial vehicles safely and in DOT/compliance with company requirements.
• Drive tractor trailers, tankers, roll‑off trucks, vacuum trucks, and other CDL units.
• Transport materials between job sites, facilities, and disposal locations; secure loads and label hazardous materials.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; maintain DOT logs and compliance documentation.
