Steel Encounters is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver to join our Façade Encounters team in Utah. The role involves timely delivery of materials to construction sites, safe loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.

A valid CDL, at least one year of experience, and forklift training are required. You will work with shop and field personnel to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience.
• Must possess a current DOT medical certification when required.
• Must be trained and authorized to operate a forklift or complete forklift training before operating the equipment.
• Must understand cargo-securement requirements and loading procedures.

Responsabilités

• Deliver fabricated products, glass, materials, equipment, and supplies to various jobsites, including loading/unloading.
• Verify deliveries for completeness before leaving the facility.
• Safely operate a forklift to move products and materials.
• Secure loads with straps and tie-downs and inspect before departure.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with shop and field personnel and maintain site safety.
