Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Southfield, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs, performing driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.

You will ensure health and safety, comply with DOT regulations, load and unload trucks, perform manual labor on site, and may be on call for emergency response on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must be able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and medical exam as required.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks; perform manual labor on site.
• Ensure proper placarding to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs and reports; follow safety and regulatory procedures.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating schedule.
• Handle hazardous materials during site remediation as needed.
