Apex Materials is currently hiring experienced CDL Class A Drivers for double belly dump, side dump, and dump truck operations in the Las Vegas area. We are seeking safety-focused, dependable drivers who are experienced in aggregate hauling and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a safety-sensitive position responsible for safely transporting aggregate materials to and from job sites, plants, pits, and other designated locations while maintaining compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, company, and applicable safety requirements.

Full-Time | Local Hauling | Day, Night & Graveyard Shifts Available

Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate double belly dumps, side dumps, end dumps, and/or dump trucks
• Transport aggregate materials to designated job sites, plants, pits, and other locations
• Perform required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Conduct routine equipment checks, including tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and safety equipment
• Promptly report maintenance issues, equipment defects, damage, or needed repairs
• Maintain accurate and complete DVIRs and other required documentation
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, state, local, and company requirements
• Follow all company safety policies and safe driving practices
• Follow jobsite, plant, pit, and customer-specific safety requirements
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, supervisors, and jobsite personnel
• Safely maneuver equipment in active construction, aggregate, and material-hauling environments
• Perform other driving-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Verifiable experience operating:
  • End Dumps
  • Double Belly Dumps
  • Side Dumps
• Aggregate hauling experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to operate manual transmission trucks (stick shift)
• Must have an acceptable driving record and meet company and insurance requirements
• Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screening, including:
  • Drug screening
  • Background check
  • FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse query
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
• OSHA 10 certification required
• Must be able and willing to work:
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Graveyard shift
  • Weekends, as needed
  • Overtime, as operational needs require
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to report to work as scheduled
