Job summary

Handy Distribution seeks a professional CDL Class A driver to operate a day cab, delivering materials to customer shops and job sites within a safe and compliant framework. You will manage signatures, COD payments when required, and maintain accurate logs and reports.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, load securing, route optimization, and occasional warehouse tasks. Strong safety and communication skills are essential, with punctual, courteous service expected in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Twelve months CDL driving experience required.
• Must have current driver’s license and be DOT certified with CDL Class A.

Responsibilities

• Drives Class A day cab to deliver materials to customer shops and job sites.
• Collects signatures for goods delivered and handles COD/cash deliveries as required.
• Maintains logs, trip reports, fuel and toll tickets to comply with regulations.
• Operates forklifts when needed and assists with warehouse duties as required.
