Job summary

Handy Distribution is seeking a reliable Class A driver to deliver materials to customer shops and job sites. The role involves handling loads, securing cargo, and coordinating routes with attention to safety and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include accurate deliveries, maintaining logs, operating forklifts on occasion, and supporting warehouse tasks as needed. A valid CDL-A and HazMat endorsement are preferred. Working conditions are standard warehouse and road environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months CDL driving experience required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination providing accurate, timely and courteous service.
• Collects signature for goods delivered.
• Maintains driver logbook or ELD device, trip reports, fuel tickets, toll tickets, vehicle condition reports to comply with regulations.
• Operates truck following all safety policies and reports violations.
