Job summary

Pods is seeking a dependable Class A CDL driver in Colorado to handle delivery and pickup of containers at customer sites. You will operate a lift-equipped truck, complete safety inspections, and help ensure efficient, incident-free service with strong customer rapport.

The role includes using a handheld computer for verification, performing maintenance, and supporting storage center tasks as needed. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with no air brake restriction required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a lift mechanism to load and unload containers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries as needed to meet business demands.
• Use handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as required.
• Clean and inspect containers for delivery readiness.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers.
• Communicate with supervisor on questions or issues; prepare driver notes.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at storage centers.
• Provide backup for storage center functions as needed.
