Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a CDL Class A Driver & Construction Equipment Operator in Oklahoma. You will split time between operating CDL trucks on construction sites and running heavy equipment, delivering materials and supporting site crews.

We value 2–3 years of verifiable commercial driving, a tanker endorsement (hazmat a plus), and a strong safety mindset. Travel to various project locations and occasional night or weekend work are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement; hazmat a plus.
• 2–3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Proven experience operating a range of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Class A CDL vehicles on construction sites.

Your Role

You’ll enjoy a dynamic position splitting your time between safely operating construction jobsite trucks—including tankers and distributerss—and running heavy construction equipment on site. From delivering essential materials and equipment to expertly grading, compacting, or moving earth, you’ll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring projects keep moving smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Class A CDL vehiclesfor use on construction jobsites, including water trucks, service trucks, and distributers.
• Safely operate construction equipment such as loaders, graders, excavators, and dozers as required for each project.
• Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation in line with DOT guidelines.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to meet project needs on schedule.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Be willing and able to travel and work nights or weekends as needed.

What You Bring

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (hazmat a plus).
• 2–3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Proven experience operating a range of construction equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.

Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.

Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.

Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.

Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
