Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to transport bakery products from distribution centers to customers in the Grand Rapids area. This onsite role involves direct store delivery, loading/unloading, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Training and a signing bonus are provided as part of the benefits package. Ideal candidates will have a Class A CDL, at least 6 months of driving experience, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and proficiency with electronic logs and MHE equipment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL in good standing.
• Minimum of 6 months Class A driving experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Proficient in operating MHE equipment and electronic logs.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to and from distribution centers and customer locations.
• Unload and deliver products in accordance with invoices and standards.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document receipts.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Support loading/unloading using pallet jacks as needed.
