Job summary

Join Dawn Foods as a CDL Class A Driver to safely and efficiently transport and deliver product from our distribution centers to bakery customers. You will drive tractor-trailers, unload according to invoices, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Start times range early morning, with 1–2 overnight routes per week; routes may require weekend work. You must hold a valid Class A CDL in good standing and be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months Class A driving experience.
• Ability to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout shift.
• Experience operating MHE equipment is a plus.
• Experience delivering into food service accounts preferred.
• Lift-gate, reefer, pallet jack experience helpful.
• Computer skills or experience with electronic logs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obey all road rules, DOT regulations, and food handling procedures.
• Interact with customers professionally during deliveries.
• Break down product and shelve at each stop in DSD settings.
• Drive and maintain multi-temp trailers.
• Offload with pallet jacks and two-wheelers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and retain delivery receipts.
