Job Overview

As a Local CDL Driver - Class A, your main responsibility is to safely deliver products to customers' businesses or job sites within a reasonable radius of your home branch. Enjoy the convenience of starting and ending your routes at the branch, with no overnight stays. Overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons. *Class A driving duties.

Essential Duties

1. Prioritize safety above all else.
2. Comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
3. Load, unload, and stage orders at warehouses or job sites.
4. Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as necessary.
5. Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
6. Perform related duties such as stocking, order entry, shipping, and receiving.
7. Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records, including signed delivery receipts, tracking information, driver logs, and truck performance forms.

Requirements

1. Valid CDL License - Class A.
2. Clean driving record with no recent hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions; incidents within the last year will be reviewed.
3. Previous commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are advantageous.
4. HAZMAT endorsement is a plus.
5. Basic computer skills.
6. Forklift experience is beneficial.
7. Experience with other truck types (e.g., Moffett) is a plus.
8. Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
9. Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical.

Additional Information
