Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Driver/and or Box Truck Driver with a medical card for local routes. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations within the local area while ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This is a full-time, local driving position that does not require overnight travel.

Duties:

• Operate a Class A truck to transport goods locally, following assigned delivery routes, adhering to schedules, and optimizing delivery times to meet customer needs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Secure products by safety regulations to prevent shifting during transport.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch or management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Assist in loading and unloading products if required.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Maintain positive customer interactions, address concerns, and ensure a professional delivery experience.
• Driving no further than 150 nautical miles does not require a Elog book for DOT.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Driving Skills: You need a valid CDL Class A driver's license and a clean driving record. Good driving skills, safety awareness, and handling various driving conditions are crucial.
• Navigation Skills:Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and reading and interpreting maps are essential for effective route planning.
• Communication:Effective communication skills are needed to interact with customers and colleagues.
