Job Description:

• Operate Tractor Trailer safely and effectively in accordance with the Department Of Transportation and Port Authority
• Drive within Restricted Vehicle Service Road (RVSR) and adhere to all Safety rules and regulations including posted speed limits
• Transport cargo to and from the warehouse as per contractual requirements
• Inspect Tractor and trailer prior to operation
• Report all mechanical failures to supervisor
• Ensure truck is fueled prior to operation
• Maintain a clean cabin of assigned trucks
• In the unfortunate event of an accident, report to supervisor immediately
• Do not reverse to an aircraft without a guide man
• Monitor the loading of your trailer safely
• Ensure each position if fully locked on the trailer
• Immediately after being loaded, required to secure each position with supplied straps on your trailer prior to hauling back to cargo facility (Same applies when transporting cargo from cargo facility to aircraft)
• Radio communication is crucial for the benefit of the operation. Required to respond to all radio transmissions
• Drive cautiously. Take special precaution during inclement weather
