Shift Schedule

• Monday – Friday: dependent on route, average 5 days per week.
• Start times range from 12:00 am to 5:00 am (dependent on route).
• End times range from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm (until route completion).
• Routes will not exceed DOT hours.
• At least 1 overnight route per week.

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Driver for Dawn Foods, you will be responsible for completing daily routes in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, adhering to all federal, state, and local rules, including DOT regulations. You will interact face-to-face with customers, representing Dawn Foods professionally. Responsibilities include but are not limited to breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading with electric pallet jacks, performing vehicle inspections, and collecting invoice receipts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Class “A” CDL License in good standing
• Ability to work in the U.S.
• At least 21 years old
• Minimum 6 months of Class A commercial driving experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to operate MHE equipment
• Experience with food service deliveries preferred
• Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack, and forklift experience helpful
• Computer skills helpful

Responsibilities

• Obey all road rules and DOT procedures.
• Engage with customers professionally.
• Perform product breakdown, offloading, vehicle inspections, and invoice collection.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The physical requirements include exerting effort to handle objects over 50 pounds, standing, stooping, crouching, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Visual and motor coordination skills are necessary. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
