Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking candidates to deliver concrete products via flatbeds to jobsites. The role requires operating heavy equipment, transporting loads, and maintaining safety and accurate logs daily.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDL Class A with Air Brake Endorsement, have at least 1 year of driving experience, and be able to operate a manual 13-speed. Comprehensive benefits accompany a competitive base pay.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment, including a forklift to load flatbeds.
• Transport concrete products to jobsites.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers.
• Obey traffic laws and regulations.
• Secure cargo and balance loads within the vehicle.
• Maintain detailed logs of working hours per regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Display a professional, courteous attitude toward coworkers, dispatchers, customers, and the public.
• Follow Safety Practices & Procedures as outlined in company policies.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking candidates to deliver concrete products via flatbeds to jobsites.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate various pieces of heavy equipment, including a forklift to load flatbeds.
• Transport concrete products to jobsites.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
• Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
• Obeying and following all applicable traffic laws, rules, and regulations.
• Securing cargo, and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Performing pre and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
• Reporting any defects, accidents, or violations.
• Verifying loads for accuracy and proper information on tickets.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
• Strict adherence to all Safety Practices & Procedures, including company policies and procedures as outlined in the book of company policies.
• Individuals are required to wear PPE
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment
• CDL - Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Ability to operate a manual 13 speed
• At least 1 year of driving experience
