Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in Jessup, MD to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, deliver products to local customers, and unload cargo while maintaining courteous service.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate PIT/MHE like an electric pallet jack, and handle other duties as assigned; must meet age and CDL requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV safely and professionally for customer deliveries
• Unload and deliver products to local customers and perform inspections of equipment
• Operate PIT/MHE such as electric pallet jacks or hand trucks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and other duties as assigned

Job description

• The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers
• The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
