Job summary

Carter Custom Millwork, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites and distribution locations. You will operate our well-maintained fleet, meet daily schedules, and deliver friendly, professional service to customers.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, with competitive pay and opportunities for training and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Day Cab Class A experience with Curtain Side and Dry Van trailers (48’/53’).
• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Current CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team and sustain a full-time Mon-Fri schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites and Millwork Distribution Locations safely and on time using company fleet.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites and Millwork Distribution Locations in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.

Requirements

• Day Cab Class A - Hauling Curtain Side and Dry Van’s - 48’ and 53’ trailers
• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• Full Time M-F; Competitive pay; willing to train new drivers
