Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to safely transport orders to local jobsites using our company-owned fleet and maintain daily delivery schedules.

On site, you will unload with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and ensure materials are placed precisely where customers need them. Carter Lumber supports career growth and values reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Hire On Bonus to be paid out at 30 Days & 60 Days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time using company fleet.
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place them at the requested location.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
