Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a safety‑mocused Local CDL Driver to deliver products to customer sites and branches within a local radius from Boise. This role emphasizes safety, DOT/OSHA compliance, and the ability to unload as needed.

You will perform loading/unloading, maintain records, and support warehousing tasks while enjoying overtime opportunities during peak seasons. This position is based at our Boise branch with day driving only.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License - CLASS A.
• Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions in last 3 years; accidents/violations in last year reviewed by HR.
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus.
• HAZMAT endorsement is an asset.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift experience is helpful.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to customers and job sites within a local radius.
• Load, unload, and stage orders at branches or sites as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signed delivery receipts.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Support warehousing tasks such as stocking and order entry as required.
