Meyer Logistics in Stockton, CA is seeking a CDL Class A Dedicated Lane Regional Day Shift Driver to haul aftermarket auto parts from our distribution centers to cross docks. This is a stable, family-owned company that treats drivers like partners.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PST with home time and dedicated runs. The role involves safe forklift operation, loading/unloading, and strict adherence to DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A tractor-trailer driving experience with vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
• Valid CDL Class A License with no restrictions
• Working knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to meet all DOT medical and safety requirements
• Must pass required drug and alcohol screening
• Able to safely operate a forklift
• Capable of lifting 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver freight in a timely, compliant manner
• Hook/unhook trailers and secure freight
• Load/unload freight; operate forklift, pallet jack
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records
• Complete required DOT paperwork

This CDL Driver position transports aftermarket auto accessories and much more from our own distribution centers to Cross Docks on our own fleet using a Dry Van Tractor Trailer and forklift.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• $28.00 per hour, based on experience
• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PST; schedule varies on operational needs.
• Stockton, CA - West Sacramento, CA; including picking up backhauls.
• Dedicated runs with excellent home time

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Safely transport and deliver freight in a timely, efficient, and legal manner
• Hook and unhook trailers and properly secure freight
• Install and remove tire chains as needed
• Load and unload freight, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying materials
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift, manlift, and pallet jack
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift
• Complete required paperwork and maintain DOT-compliant records
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine equipment inspections
• Report maintenance needs and equipment defects promptly
• Follow all state, federal, and DOT regulations
• Maintain compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Represent the Company and the transportation industry in a professional manner
• Perform heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A tractor-trailer driving experience with vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
• Valid CDL Class A License with no restrictions
• Working knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to meet all DOT medical and safety requirements
• Must successfully complete required drug and alcohol screening
• Acceptable background investigation results
• Ability and willingness to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.
