Job summary

JDM EXPEDITE INC on Davenport, IA is seeking an experienced Company Truck Driver to operate company-provided Freightliner Cascadia trucks for dry van freight. The role is a 1099 contractor position with per‑mile pay up to $0.80 and no-touch freight.

Responsibilities include safe operation, on-time deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, log maintenance, and DOT compliance. Prior driving experience is preferred and professional communication with dispatch is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Company Truck Driver – Dry Van

We are currently hiring experienced Company Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We provide the truck and equipment, and drivers operate company-provided Freightliner Cascadia trucks.

Compensation

• Up to $0.80 per mile (CPM)
• Paid on both loaded and empty miles
• 1099 contractor compensation
• Referral and safety bonus opportunities

Equipment

Drivers may be assigned one of the following:

• Freightliner Cascadia Evolution 126
• Model years 2023–2027, subject to availability
• Trucks are maintained and operated in compliance with applicable DOT requirements

Truck assignments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Freight and Operation

• Dry van freight
• Power-only operation
• No-touch freight
• Light and clean commodities
• Over-the-road driving

Driver Responsibilities
