Shalestone, Inc. is looking for Class A or Class B drivers with tanker endorsement from the Ignacio, CO to Aztec, NM area.

The Class A or B CDL drivers should have experience with a Bobtail and/or tractor trailer. Responsibilities include loading, hauling, and unloading of material related to oil field and industrial use while operating a tractor trailer. Drivers will be required to maintain ELD/logs while driving all Commercial Motor Vehicles over 26,001 lbs.

Essential Functions/Requirements

• Report to work on time
• Be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays in all-weather conditions
• Attend and participate in safety meetings and training delivered by management
• Understand and follow the company’s policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Operate electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones
• Inspect the vehicle daily for safety defects and ensure it is in safe operating condition
• Drive safely from one destination to another without incident
• Operate equipment in close quarters safely and efficiently
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time, including JSAs, equipment checklists, timecards, and logbooks
• Ensure all fittings and equipment are available for assigned jobs prior to departure
• Monitor fluid levels and understand basic fluid dynamics
• Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisor
• Load, secure, transport, and unload/stage tanks, skids, machinery, and equipment
• Properly utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as hardhats, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, flame-resistant clothing, and gloves
• Possess basic mathematical skills for simple calculations

Minimum qualifications include:

• 21 years of age or older
• Motor Vehicle Record acceptable to the company insurer
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Ability to operate a manual transmission (13 to 18 speed)
• Ability to pass a drug screen and physical
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Experience

Preferred: 3 years of commercial driving experience and 3 years of oilfield experience
