Job summary

Greyhound Bus Lines Inc is seeking a full-time CDL driver in the United States to operate intercity buses safely and professionally across routes and schedules.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, assist passengers, and ensure safety and comfort while traveling across communities. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement, DOT exam clearance, and flexibility with schedules are required for this role.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with valid endorsement.
• No air brake restriction.
• DOT medical exam and pre-employment drug screening clear.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and safety rules.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Assist passengers with boarding, seating and belongings.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for vehicle readiness.
• Report maintenance issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain passenger safety and comfort, and provide customer service.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and company protocols during incidents.
• Keep mileage, fuel and trip records accurate.
• Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments when required
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by providing assistance when needed
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
• Report any maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their personal belongings
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents in accordance with company protocols
• Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other required documentation
• Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Fully Licensed with Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Possesses Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
• 22 years of age or older
• Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• Full-time employment consideration only
• Ability to work varied schedule based on regional driver needs

Compensation Range

USD $30.87 - USD $32.84 /Hr.
