Greyhound Lines, Inc. in Chicago seeks a professional Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and comfortably across designated routes, while representing the company’s commitment to safety and customer experience.

Responsibilities include operating a bus safely, following schedules, assisting passengers, and performing vehicle inspections. Candidates must hold a CDL A or B with 16+ passenger endorsement, be 22 or older, and pass a DOT physical with a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL license.
• Passenger 16+ endorsement required, no air brake restriction.
• Must be 22 years or older and able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Operate a motor coach safely and efficiently while obeying traffic laws.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Ensure passenger safety and comfort; assist boarding and belongings.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus readiness.
• Report maintenance issues or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain records of miles, fuel, and required documentation.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and company protocols.
• Stay current with company safety policies.

• Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments when required
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by providing assistance when needed
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
• Report any maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their personal belongings
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents in accordance with company protocols
• Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other required documentation
• Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Must be fully Licensed with Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Must possesses Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
• 22 years of age or older
• Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
