Job summary

Krapf Group in West Goshen Township, PA, is seeking a field driver to provide daily transit of passengers to and from pickup and drop-off points per contract requirements. This role requires a valid CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement and DOT safety compliance.

Responsibilities include operating a transit bus, performing pre-trip inspections, maintaining routes and safety, assisting passengers including those with mobility needs, and complying with company and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age; valid CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement and Airbrake restriction removed
• Must meet physical qualifications for DOT physical and drug test
• Must have satisfactory motor vehicle, criminal history, and child abuse records
• Willing to work 10-12 hour days 3 days a week (Part-time) and 4 days (Full-time)
• Weekend and holiday shifts on rotation
• Ability to manage passenger behavior and emergencies; operate wheelchair lifts as needed
• Complete required skills and classroom recertification training
• Meet DOT medical and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal and state regulations for operating commercial vehicles
• Safely operate a transit bus on assigned routes with courtesy and professionalism
• Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
• Report defects and incidents to supervisor
• Maintain route sheets and adhere to schedules
• Assist with passengers including those with mobility needs
• Load/unload wheelchair passengers following procedures
• Operate lifts for passengers with mobility needs
• Attend safety trainings and keep vehicle clean and maintained
• Report personal vehicle violations as required by DOT
