Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to join our team in Rochester Hills, MI. Safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, and social events, while assisting with boarding and wheelchair needs.

The role requires a Valid CDL Class C with Passenger endorsement; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. You will uphold safety protocols, maintain a clean driving record, and deliver excellent service to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class C license with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Patience and understanding of the needs of elderly individuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and social events.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those requiring wheelchair assistance.
• Operate wheelchair lifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
