Job summary

Pomeroy Living Corporation is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to transport residents safely to appointments, outings, and social events. You will assist with boarding, operate wheelchair lifts, and maintain safety protocols while delivering excellent customer service to residents and families.

The role emphasizes patient care and clear communication with elderly residents, ensuring reliable daily transportation in a caring environment. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class C with Passenger endorsement.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Patience and understanding of elderly residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and events.
• Assist residents with boarding/exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair users.
• Operate wheelchair lifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Provide excellent service to residents and their families.

• Safely and timely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and social events.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those requiring wheelchair assistance.
• Operate wheelchair lifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class C license with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Patience and understanding of the needs of elderly individuals.
