Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a CDL-certified bus driver to provide safe transportation for afterschool programs and related activities at the Summit Family YMCA in Newnan, GA. You will supervise youth, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with site directors to support program operations.

You will complete required trainings, pass background checks, and maintain all certifications. This role requires availability during morning and early evening hours and a commitment to YMCA

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide sound, caring and positive leadership for youth.
• Possess a CDL and be able to drive a passenger vehicle.
• Pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Take daily attendance at the start of the program and during transitions.
• Coordinate supply requests with directors.
• Establish open lines of communication with branch staff and school staff.
• Assist in planning and implementing the program according to YMCA guidelines.
• Attend required trainings (Bright from the Start, YMCA, etc.).
• Maintain safety and follow licensing rules for Out of School programs.
