Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation seeks a CDL Bus Driver for Pahto Public Passage/Tribal Transit. This full-time role transports passengers on routes within the Yakama Reservation and supports demand services for medical appointments, groceries, and other needs.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, assist with vehicle cleaning, and maintain compliance with CDL, DOT medical, and safety requirements. Rotating shifts and weekend work may be required.

Competenze

• Must be 21+ years old and insurable under the Yakama Nation HR program.
• Must pass random FTA DOT drug and alcohol testing throughout the year.
• Must possess a First Aid/CPR card or obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• No history of drug and/or alcohol abuse within one year prior to hire.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must have a current medical/physical examination including TB skin test.
• Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Yakama Nation Driving permit.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Mansioni

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete required vehicle inspection forms.
• Pick up passengers at designated areas along multiple towns.
• Follow safety rules for boarding/exiting buses and on-road traffic.
• Notify Program Manager/Scheduler of service requirements for vehicles.
• Explain passenger rules and maintain order on board.
• Prepare and submit reports on passengers, trips, hours, mileage, and fuel.
• Maintain First Aid/CPR and Passenger Safety training certificates.
• Maintain interiors of program vehicles and clean bus stops and stops areas.
• Keep CDL and DOT health physical up to date.
• Assist with snow removal for vehicles in program parking area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission.
• Able to pass CDL Physical.
