Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking a CDL Driver / Bus Deployment Driver to manage transportation, deployment, staging, pickup, and return of bloodmobiles for mobile drives. This role focuses on vehicle movement and operational readiness, not donor interactions.

You will ensure buses are fueled, staged, and returned according to procedures, with limited onsite time during blood drives unless directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License and CDL with clean record.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport bloodmobiles between garages, staging areas, and blood drive locations.
• Deploy and return a minimum of two buses daily as scheduled.
• Stage buses at blood drive locations per standards.
• Inspect vehicles and report issues to ensure readiness.
• Maintain supply carts and beverages; ensure cold drinks are stocked.
