Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Must be 21 or older to comply with Federal regulations.
• Endorsements (tanker and doubles) based on vehicle assigned.
• 2 years commercial vehicle driving experience with an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to complete Entry Level Driver program if less than 2 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Drive assigned vehicle on designated route.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle status as required by regulations.
• Record information such as weight, mileage, time and fuel consumption.
• Plan routes and use navigation to maximize efficiency.
• Load or unload trucks using equipment as necessary.
• Interact professionally with others and follow company procedures.
