Job summary

Baker Commodities is seeking a Bulk Grease Driver to safely collect and transport used cooking oil and related products. You will operate a Class A vehicle on assigned routes and adhere to all DOT and environmental regulations, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate logs.

The role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical card, and driver endorsements. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, with regular travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Must be 21+ years old to comply with Federal regulations.
• Endorsements (tanker and doubles) based on vehicle assigned.
• 2 years commercial vehicle driving experience with an acceptable MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English as required by FMCSA.
• Understand and follow all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to work overtime and alternate schedule/route as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle and safety equipment to ensure proper condition.
• Collect delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Drive assigned vehicle on designated routes.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents.
• Maintain logs per state and federal regulations.
• Record mileage, fuel, and time data.
• Utilize GPS and radio/phone to stay in contact with supervisors.
• Plan routes to maximize fuel efficiency.
• Load or unload trucks as necessary.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct.
