Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking an experienced CDL Bucket Truck Operator with a strong background in professional tree trimming and removal. The role involves operating bucket trucks and other CDL-required equipment while performing tree trimming, removals, and right-of-way vegetation maintenance along state highways.

Ideal candidates have hands-on tree work experience and the ability to work safely around traffic and utilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid CDL appropriate for the equipment operated.
• 5 years clean MVR.
• OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card.
• Experience operating bucket trucks.
• Experience performing tree trimming/removal preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work safely around traffic and utilities.
• Follow safety procedures and work as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket trucks to access and trim/remove trees and branches.
• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals along state highways and rights-of-way.
• Load, haul, and remove brush, logs, limbs, and debris.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Safely work around traffic, overhead utilities, and roadside hazards.
• Follow all safety requirements and operate within license classifications.
