Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking an experienced CDL Bucket Truck Operator for tree trimming and removal along state highways and rights-of-way. You will operate bucket trucks and other CDL equipment, perform pruning and removals, and ensure safety around traffic and utilities.

The role requires hands-on tree work experience, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL license appropriate for the equipment operated.
• 5 years clean MVR.
• OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card required.
• Experience with bucket trucks and tree work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals along state highways and rights-of-way.
• Operate bucket trucks to safely access and trim/remove trees and branches.
• Assist with tree takedowns, including cutting, lowering, and processing limbs and sections of trees.
• Operate chainsaws and other hand and power tools used in professional tree work.
• Load, haul, and remove brush, logs, limbs, and other debris from work areas.
• Safely work around traffic, overhead utilities, and other roadside hazards.
• Perform traffic control measures and establish appropriate work-zone safety areas.
• Safely operate CDL vehicles and equipment within license classifications.
